In version 4.2 we added the ability to attach a tooltip in form fields.  A tooltip is a small pop-up window that appears when a user pauses the mouse pointer over a form element.

To add a tooltip to a form element

• Edit the form element via the Form Layout Designer and navigate to the Layout tab

• Provide content to the Tooltip property and save changes

NOTE:  Each field element will have a different set of properties for the Layout tab.  Thus the location of the Tooltip property may be different to the image shown above.

The image below shows an example tooltip when the mouse is moved over the First Name field.
