I have a form template which I copied from in order to have 10 distinct forms in production. Foundational is a database query token namespace. I alter the value of one textbox to reflect an organization ID, and the database query uses it as a param.

When I try to create the namespace for a copied template, I get the error message that the token namespace is already being used. Obviously, I want to re-use the same namespace for all of the forms as various elements are pre-populated based on that query. Creating a new namespace for each of the 10 forms, and editing the fields to reflect, is not a desirable prospect.

Can you advise? Thanks -

Note quite sure what the real issue here is.

Are you saying, you have a template, say Template1 with a DB query named Foundational.  You created a new template, say Template2 from the base Template1.  You can not create new query name Foundational in Template2?  Does the query Foundational exists in the list of available db query tokens for Template1 after creating the template?

When creating a new template by copying an existing template, there was a message that the databaes queries were not replicated with the template for security reasons, and that only someone with a host account could add the database queries.

So there are no queries listed at all. The namespace wasn't "foundational" - I meant that to mean that it was a fundamental aspect of the form template, sorry. The namespace is actually FUNDERINFO and the following two things are true:

1) It does not exist in the newly created template in a list of database queries; the list is empty.

2) I cannot create a query with the same namespace FUNDERINFO because either the term I am trying to use is a) a reserved word or b) It is already being used as a namespace. Since it is not a reserved word, the second reason must be the one in play.

It would be nice to have composite key for uniqueness rather than enforce it on the name only, with this particular situation especially in mind.

Has there been some response regarding this from developers - will future dbquery namespaces have a different uniqueness composite key in order to make the 'copy template' feature more useful?
