DNN ver 4.5

ENT forms ver Unknown (how do I determine this?)

Tested behavior on Windows 7 with IE8 and Firefox 3.6. Also on Windows XP with IE8 and IE6.

Rebooted the Web Server for good measure.

I have an existing form that contains cells with HTML. When I edit the content of these cells, even if the edit is as simple as removing a letter from the text that is displayed, all the HTML is wiped out and replaced with the capitol letter T. Nothing else. I am baffled. No error messages, nothing. I have the form in development and have locked it. I have full rights to edit it.

Let me know what other information you need to help diagnose this.

You can determine the version of Enterprise Forms from the Host --> Module Definitions page.

Also, are you using a rich text editor other than the default DNN rich text editor?

Using version 3.06.02

I am using the editor installed with DNN, if that is the one that is called when you edit the form. There are no other editor modules installed.

Unfortunately the version of EF you are using is not compatible with DNN 4.5. You will need to upgrade EF 4.2 or later to ensure full compatibility.

Well, this DNN Versioning is odd as well. I see it as 4.05. It show 4.5 when you look at the file version. This installation has been in place for a couple years and this version of EF was installed at that time and has been in place for that entire time and working properly. There have been no upgrades (I'm in the process of fixing that) since the system was installed. I have edited forms in just this manner in the past without seeing this behavior.
