A Custom Form Role is essentially a grouping of one or more DotNetnuke® system roles. A custom form role is used for assigning access control to the individual states in a workflow. Custom Form Roles need to exist before mapping to System Roles can be performed.
TIP:
A valid form template requires at least one Custom Form Role defined and mapping to existing DotNetnuke® system role(s).
