Form Template Manager is designed specifically for creating and maintenance of form templates and its associated properties. A Form template is essentially a design blue-print to create forms. A form template contain a number of associate properties such as custom form roles, a business workflow and states pertaining to the workflow. Form templates are created using a specially designed Form Template Designer, an advanced GUI editor that allows designated users to design and create the form blue-print and its associated meta-data.
The Form Template Manager main screen provides an entry point to creating and managing form templates. At the center of the screen it list all form templates the user has access to. The list contain both form templates the user initially created and those created by other users. The user who created the form template is known as the owner of the form template. Depending the on the designer security roles allocated and the current state a form template, the user may only have read-only access to the template even though the user is the owner of the form template.
