Enterprise Forms File Distribution

Enterprise Forms files are generally distributed in the following file format

e.g. EF 01.00.00 PA Full.zip

The first two characters is the abbreviation of the product name

The next set of 6 numeric values (excluding spaces and dots) represent the product major, minor and build numbers

The rest of the characters represent the type of the distribution.

Once a distribution file has been downloaded, unzip the content of the distribution file to a temporary storage area where you will find the actual PA file for installing Enterprise Forms module.  The PA file is usually accompanied with a number of additional files such as release note and latest version of compiled help file.

 

Installing & Upgrading Enterprise Forms for DotNetnuke®®

• Login as a Super User (ie Host user account)

• From the "Host" menu, select "Module Definitions"

• In the Modules Definition screen, click on the "Upload New Module" link button

• In the Upload Custom Module screen, the  click on "Browse" button to choose the Enterprise Forms PA file to upload.

• Browse to the appropriate location to where Enterprise Forms PA is located then click on "Open" to select the file

• Select the "Add" link button to confirm custom module upload

• Select the "Upload New File" link button to install Enterprise Forms to your DotNetnuke® portal

• Optional Step - verify the generated log from the installation (or from Admin --> Event Viewer menu) and notify Ethuongmai Support (support@ethuongmai.com) should errors occurred.

 

 

Configure Enterprise Forms for the Portal

Enterprise Forms comprise of four core modules: Form Template Manager, Data Collection Manager, Workflow Manager and Report Manager. To properly use the product, it is recommended that these modules be added in its own page for easy of management.

Once installed five new module entries are added to the available modules list and ready for use.
