Textbox Highlight

Version 05.00.00 provides a new feature, Textbox Highlight, used to enhance the usability of user interactions.  The feature enables the ability to highlight textbox field elements with a CSS style and a short tooltip type comment to enable users to distingush between form field elements with user entered values and fields that don't .  To see the feature in action, refer to the Contact Us page

Textbox hilight usage

The above image shows a sample form utilizing the new Textbox Highlight feature.  Note that the First Name field also have Textbox Highlight activated, however after a value has been provided the field element becomes normal and feature deactivated.  Whereas the Email and Question/Feedback field still have Textbox Highlight feature enabled

  

The above images shows the related properties for configuring Textbox Highlight feature for a textbox/textarea field element.  These properties are located from the Layout tab of the Edit Element popup screen.

DefaultHelpText represents the default text to show when user has not entered a value to the field. 

DefaultHelpTextCSSClass represents the CSS class to use to when the feature is enabled.  By default the system uses a predefined CSS class called "HelpTextWaterMark"

Textbox Highlight feature is also used throughout the entire application whereby mandatory textbox fields are required.
